In recognition of Taps Across America, William \u201cBill\u201d A. and Debbie Larson will host a Memorial Day Observance and playing of \u201cTaps\u201d for the community on May 25 at 3 p.m. at their Sanibel home.<\/p>\n
\u201cTaps\u201d will be performed by Bill Larson, a retired U.S. Air Force colonel.<\/p>\n
There will be cold drinks and an ice cream sundae bar by the pool after \u201cTaps\u201d until about 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
The event is open to the public; no RSVPS are needed.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope to see you!\u201d the couple reported. \u201cFeel free to bring a guest or two.\u201d<\/p>\n
Attendees should arrive by 2:50 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have some seating and lawn chairs, but if you can bring a beach chair with you, you will be assured of having a seat,\u201d the couple reported.<\/p>\n
Attendees are asked to park on the street on Bowen Bayou Road as close to the side of the road as possible or in their neighbors\u2019 driveways at 4610 or 4609 Bowen Bayou Road, which they have permission to use.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will mark with a flag or a red balloon \u2014 something distinctive,\u201d they reported.<\/p>\n
