They will reopen for regular hours on May 26.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 DOMESTIC ANIMAL SERVICES<\/p>\n<p>Lee County Domestic Animal Services, at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, will be closed on May 25. It will resume regular business hours on May 26.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 LEETRAN<\/p>\n<p>LeeTran will not run bus, trolley, mobility on-demand or paratransit service on May 25. Services will resume on May 26. Route schedules and maps are available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rideleetran.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.rideleetran.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 PARKS &amp; RECREATION<\/p>\n<p>Lee County Parks &amp; Recreation offices and recreation centers will be closed on May 25. They will reopen on May 26.<\/p>\n<p>Parks, pools and preserves will remain open on May 25. For a list of open locations, hours and amenities, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leeparks.org\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.leeparks.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The county asks park patrons to remember no alcohol is permitted in county parks.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 SOLID WASTE<\/p>\n<p>Garbage, recycling and yard waste collections in unincorporated Lee County \u2014 which includes Captiva \u2014 the city of Bonita Springs, village of Estero and town of Fort Myers Beach will take place one day after the regularly scheduled day for the week beginning on May 25. If the collection day is Monday, the truck will pick up material on Tuesday. Tuesday\u2019s pickups will occur on Wednesday and so on for the rest of the week through May 30. Regular collection schedules will resume on June 1.<\/p>\n<p>Lee County Solid Waste facilities and offices will be closed on May 25. It includes operations at the: Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility, at 6441 Topaz Court, Fort Myers; Resource Recovery Facility on Buckingham Road; and Lee\/Hendry Regional Solid Waste Disposal Facility.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are encouraged to recycle plastic bottles, metal cans and glass containers generated from holiday weekend activities.
