Hungry for a hoagie? Wawa just announced three more Florida locations opening in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n
A new Pensacola Wawa<\/a>, coming on May 21, will be the 31st new store out of nearly 100 the company plans to open across 14 states this year. Wawas in Sun Center and Kissimmee are on their way in June, according to the cult-favorite gas station\/convenience store’s grand openings page<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you’re one of the first 100 customers in line, you can score free, limited-edition \u201cWawa Grand Opening Tour in the USA\u201d t-shirts. If you don’t make it, you can still get free coffee, any size, through the weekend.<\/p>\n If that sounds familiar, it’s because another Wawa opened in Pensacola about a month ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n Pennsylvania-based Wawa intends to open 20 to 25 new stores in the Florida Panhandle over the next 8-10 years, the company said in a release<\/a>, with each new location employing an average of 35 associates.<\/p>\n “Wawa is thrilled to celebrate our nation\u2019s 250th birthday year with nearly 100 grand opening parties celebrating local communities across Wawa\u2019s operating area!” the company said. “The events are a celebration of the community with the community designed to create joyful moments and meaningful connections with friends and neighbors.”<\/p>\n Take a look inside the newest Wawa to open in Pensacola<\/p>\n 1 of 13<\/p>\n Dozens gathered to be the first customers of the new Wawa location on Highway 29 on April 16, 2026.
