{"id":277387,"date":"2026-05-20T00:07:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T00:07:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/277387\/"},"modified":"2026-05-20T00:07:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T00:07:11","slug":"kansas-city-international-adds-new-nonstop-florida-flight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/277387\/","title":{"rendered":"Kansas City International adds new nonstop Florida flight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kansas City International Airport continues to add direct flights for its customers.<\/p>\n<p>On May 19, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.allegiantair.com\/press-releases\/press-release-details\/2026\/Allegiant-Adds-Eight-New-Nonstop-Routes-Expanding-Service-to-Florida\/default.aspx\">Allegiant Travel Company<\/a> announced that it added eight new nonstop routes to its network, one of them being a route through Kansas City. Starting Oct. 2, Kansas City travelers can fly between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, through Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport International Airport and Kansas City.<\/p>\n<p>On top of the direct flight, Allegiant is offering reduced prices on their additional flights. To claim them, you\u2019ll need to have an Allways Rewards account, and you must book a flight between May 19 and June 18, 2026, for travel dates between Oct. 1, 2026, and Feb. 9, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to announce these new routes and believe it is an important time for Allegiant to increase travel options in these markets,\u201d  Drew Wells, Allegiant\u2019s chief commercial officer, said in a press release. \u201cOur mission is to offer service where it is needed most, and these additions ensure that affordable fares can remain available to consumers despite industry changes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The other markets that received a direct flight to Fort Lauderdale include Boston, Omaha and Pittsburgh.
