One of the event&#8217;s long-time performers and promoters is Tallahassee&#8217;s own salt water troubadour Del Suggs. He&#8217;s been performing at the festival for much of its 74-year run. And he says other local artists will be appearing at this year&#8217;s event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re really fortunate because this year on the main stage we have some acts that have a lot of local Tallahassee connection. For example, Melody Trucks and the Fritzee Brothers will be performing on Saturday night. And a lot of people know Melody because she grew up here in Tallahassee.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Melody also happens to be the daughter of Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks.
