FIRST WARNING METEOROLOGIST CAM TRAN IS HERE NOW, SO CAM EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE TRICK OR TREATING FORECAST AND HAVING TO MAKE THOSE CHANGES TO THE COSTUME. POSSIBLY. YEAH, WE ARE LOOKING AT CRISP EVENING, SO YOUR KIDDOS MAYBE HAVE LIKE A THINNER COSTUME. YOU MIGHT NEED A BLANKET WITH THEM OR EVEN A JACKET. I KNOW IT MIGHT BE TOUGH TO SOME OF THOSE COSTUMES MIGHT BE TOUGH TO WEAR A JACKET. SO I SUGGEST THE BLANKET THIS EVENING AS WE TAKE A LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE OCALA THIS MORNING. YOU’RE THE COOL SPOT. CLEAR SKIES, CALM CONDITIONS ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP DOWN TO 50. BUT I DO BELIEVE IT’S GOING TO BE IN THE 40S BY THE TIME WE GET TOWARDS DAYBREAK. THOUGH. 51 IN THE VILLAGES, WE’RE CURRENTLY 52, IN DELAND. AND GOOD MORNING, TITUSVILLE. YOU’RE AT 55 DEGREES. HIGH TEMPERATURES LATER THIS AFTERNOON WILL CLIMB INTO THE LOW 70S UNDER MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. SO IT’S GOING TO BE A GORGEOUS DAY TO GET OUTSIDE. AND YOU WON’T NEED THAT RAIN GEAR AT ALL ON THIS HALLOWEEN, SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RAIN IN THE FORECAST FOR THOSE TRICK OR TREAT PLANS. LOOKING AT OUR FIRST WARNING RADAR AS IT’S DOING ITS SWEEP BUT NOT PICKING UP A SINGLE DROP OF RAIN, WIND SPEEDS A BIT BREEZY OUT THIS MORNING COMING OUT OF THE WEST NORTHWEST AT 5 TO 15MPH. SO AS YOU’RE TAKING THE KIDDOS TO THE BUS STOP THIS MORNING, YOU’LL DEFINITELY NEED THAT LIGHT JACKET OR SWEATER. BUT THE RIDE HOME FROM SCHOOL, THOUGH, WE’RE LOOKING AT A HIGH OF 71 DEGREES WITH BREEZY SUNSHINE, SO THEY MIGHT NEED THAT LIGHT JACKET. STILL, BECAUSE OF HOW COOL THOSE TEMPERATURES ARE IN THAT BREEZE. SPEAKING THAT BREEZE, WE ARE GOING TO SEE THAT BREEZE STICK AROUND THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND AT AROUND SUNSET AT 640. THAT’S WHEN A LOT OF FOLKS HEAD OUT TRICK OR TREATING. TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE LOW 60S, BUT LOOK HOW QUICKLY WE DROP OFF INTO THE UPPER 50S. BY ABOUT 9:00 THIS EVENING. SO AGAIN, IT IS TRENDING COOLER LIKELY HAVE THOSE JACKETS OR SWEATERS HANDY, OR I SUGGEST A BLANKET JUST TO MAKE IT EASIER TO WRAP THEM UP, ESPECIALLY IF THEY’RE A LITTLE, LITTLE, LITTLE ONE. THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND. LOOKING AT PERFECT WEATHER, WE ARE LOOKING AT A HIGH OF 76 DEGREES ON SATURDAY. NOW, SUNDAY IS NOT LOOKING BAD EITHER, BUT CLOUDS WILL INCREASE ON SUNDAY AND WE DO HAVE THAT 20% CHANCE OF RAIN. SO BREAKING DOWN FUTURECAST, YOU CAN SEE VERY QUIET, LOTS OF SUNSHINE, DRY CONDITIONS OVER THE WEEKEND ON SATURDAY. BUT NOTICE THOSE CLOUDS BEGIN TO BUILD ON SUNDAY THOUGH. AND LOOK AT SUNDAY EVENING AROUND 7:00 8:00. WE START TO SEE A FEW PASSING RAIN SHOWERS AROUND, SO KEEP THOSE UMBRELLAS HANDY IF YOU HAVE PLANS. LATE SUNDAY NIGHT, QUICK CHECK THE TROPICS HURRICANE MELISSA ABOUT 255 MILES NORTH OF BERMUDA, NOW WITH WINDS OF 90MPH MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE NORTHEAST AT 41MPH. AT THIS RATE, IT IS EXPECTED TO BRING SOME RAIN BY LATE THIS EVENING INTO EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. FOR FAR EASTERN CANADA AND NEWFOUNDLAND, CANADA. AND THEN IT IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO RACE OFF TO THE NORTHERN ATLANTIC, WHERE AFTER IT MOVES ACROSS OR MOVES WELL NORTH OF BERMUDA, IT’S ACTUALLY GOING TO BECOME POST-TROPICAL, MEANING IT’S GOING TO START TO LOSE ITS TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS BECAUSE IT’S GOING TO TAP INTO SOME OF COOLER WATER IN THE NORTHERN ATLANTIC, BACK HERE HOME. HERE’S A LOOK AGAIN AT YOUR CENTRAL FLORIDA CERTIFIED MOST ACCURATE 70 FORECAST. WE ARE LOOKING AT HIGHS IN THE LOW 70S TODAY, BUT CLIMBING INTO THE UPPER 70S BY THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND. AND THEN MILD CONDITIONS RETURN TO CENTRAL FLORIDA FOR NEX

Coldest air of the season arrives in Central Florida this Halloween

   Updated: 6:04 AM EDT Oct 31, 2025

  Editorial Standards ⓘ

Central Florida is experiencing the coldest air of the season, providing perfect fall weather for trick-or-treaters with highs in the low 70s.
