Raymond James Stadium has hosted Super Bowls, championship celebrations, and enough stadium concerts to make permanent hearing damage sound like a reasonable tradeoff. It’s one of those venues where the sheer size of the place makes you feel like whatever’s happening inside must be important. This Saturday, May 23rd, that same trick is about to be deployed on an entirely different crowd.

Why, you say? Because it’s hosting a trading card show. A trading card show. Inside Raymond James Stadium. It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and yes, this is real.

This is, and we mean this with full sincerity, incredible.

TCG Takeover is bringing what it’s calling the first-ever trading card and collectibles event held inside the stadium, which means you can now add that to the list of historic things that have happened inside that building. They’re setting up 150-plus vendor tables inside the East Club, where collectors can buy, sell, and trade Pokémon cards, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, sports cards, graded cards, sealed products, and basically anything else that came in a pack and is now worth way more than it should be.

General admission is $25. Kids 12 and under get in free, and so do community heroes, which covers active military, veterans, first responders, medical professionals, and educators. If you’re a teacher who’s spent the year explaining fractions to 25 kids who don’t care about fractions, you’ve earned this.

If you want the full experience, VIP tickets are $100 and come with a dedicated entry lane, an exclusive badge, 10% off grading services, a $25 M&M Video Games gift card, and access to the Champions Lounge North, where complimentary food and beverages are waiting for you. Parking is completely free in Lot 4, which feels almost suspicious given that this is, again (**checks notes**)…, Raymond James Stadium.

You’ll want to register in advance here, even if your admission is free, because walking into this one cold is going to cost you time you didn’t budget for.

Raymond James Stadium has hosted Super Bowls, championship celebrations, and enough stadium concerts to make permanent hearing damage…

[10
135,137,136
post-278215","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-tampa","tag-tampa","tag-tampa-headlines","tag-tampa-news
["GET
