CLEMSON \u2014 Clemson football<\/a> added its second wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class<\/a> with the commitment of Jamarin Simmons on May 20, according to On3.<\/p>\n

The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder from Amos P. Godby High School in Tallahassee, Florida, is a four-star wide receiver. He is the No. 18 player in the state and the No. 106 player nationally by the 247Sports Composite.<\/p>\n

Simmons, a Tallahassee, Florida, native, chose Clemson<\/a> over rival Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn and Florida<\/a>. He is the second recruit to commit to Clemson on May 20, joining four-star running back Gary Walker<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In his junior season, Simmons recorded 59 catches for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also had a rushing score and a passing touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Clemson’s 2027 class<\/a> has 10 commits and is ranked No. 20 nationally (fourth in ACC). Clemson has six four-star players and four three stars.<\/p>\n
