You don\u2019t have to book a flight to transport yourself to the sunny Mediterranean. LUMA, the stellar new restaurant at SkyBeach Resort<\/a>, recently debuted a Sunday brunch that feels like a slice of Santorini in St. Pete.<\/p>\n

LUMA\u2019s picturesque waterfront setting is relaxing enough, but the new Sunday brunch takes the vibes up a notch. The experience is a showcase of Mediterranean-inspired flavors alongside a curated cocktail menu and a live DJ that keeps the rolling all afternoon.<\/p>\n

The new brunch is an immediate contender for best in St. Pete, and considering it\u2019s only available once a week (open 11 am \u2013 3 pm each Sunday), we recommend snagging reservations for this experience. And while the vibes are unbeatable, it\u2019s truly the food that makes LUMA\u2019s brunch stand out.<\/p>\n

Executive Chef Ryan VanDusen put his signature style on display in a menu that blends classic comfort staples with Gulf and Mediterranean flavors, spices, and twists. Early stars on VanDusen\u2019s new brunch include the indulgent Challah French Toast, topped with Florida orange, honey labneh and Aleppo syrup; Seriously Good Garlic Hummus with poached eggs, herb salad, Urfa pepper and grilled naan; and Chorizo Hash served with fingerling potatoes, cipollini onion, sunny-side up egg and sweet harissa. Diners can also enjoy the Sol Brunch Board, featuring smoked salmon, trout roe, capers, whipped za\u2019atar cream cheese, red onion, hard-boiled egg, sumac cucumber and grilled pita for guests to assemble to their liking.<\/p>\n

We also appreciate the keen work of the bar program. Instead of just adding mimosas to their regular menu and calling it a day, LUMA rolled out a whole new offerings made specially for the vibrant brunch. Highlights include La Madrina Mary, a take on the classic bloody mary made with Santa Familia tequila, house spice blend, tomato, citrus and a Taj\u00edn rim. For something light, we recommend the refreshing Sky Spritz, crafted with prosecco, pomegranate, Rockey\u2019s botanical liqueur, grapefruit juice and club soda. The Sky Spritz is also available as a punch bowl designed to serve four or more, making it a perfect pick for a group outing.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, LUMA has also crafted an excellent mocktail list, alongside a full menu of teas, coffees, and fresh juices. From cortados and chamomile tea to mango juice and the cucumber sol mocktail, there is enough to make everyone happy, even the person in the group who always has at least three drinks on the table at any given time.<\/p>\n

All combined, from the dining to the vibes, LUMA has created what may be the city\u2019s standout brunch choice. <\/p>\n
