MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — A forty-one-year-old man from Bethel Township has been charged with two counts of rape.<\/p>\n

According to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received reports of rape incidents on May 18.<\/p>\n

Detectives say the victims were minors, and they opened an immediate investigation.<\/p>\n

Miami County Sheriff’s Office says Kenneth Holycross III, 41, was arrested in connection with these reports.<\/p>\n

Holycross was booked in the Miami County Jail, and charged with two counts of rape.<\/p>\n

He was arraigned today in Miami County Municipal Court and pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n

Holycross remains in Miami County Jail on a $500,000 bond.<\/p>\n

Deputies say Holycross was previously employed in spaces where he had authority over minors, and it is suspected there may be other victims.<\/p>\n

Dayton Children’s has confirmed Holycross is a former employee. A spokesperson for the organization says, “We are working closely with investigators and are not aware of any incident that occurred at Dayton Children\u2019s.”<\/p>\n

The Miami County Prosecuting Attorney will work with the Sheriff’s Office on additional charges as the investigation unfolds.<\/p>\n

Holycross will return to court for a preliminary hearing on May 26.<\/p>\n
