SHE SPENT THE LAST 42  DAYS CYCLING FROM KEY WEST, FLORIDA HERE TO MAINE.    OUR JAMIE AZULAY WAS THERE FOR THE FINAL MOMENTS.     90 DEGREES&#8230; 2100 MILES TRAVELED&#8230; THIS COAST GUARD VETERAN REACHING THE FINISH LINE HERE AT THR AND PROVING ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH THE RIGHT MINDSET.    MOTIVATED BY HER MOTTO &#8220;TURNING I CAN&#8217;T INTO I CAN TRY&#8221;&#8230; JODIE KNOX CYCLING FROM FLORIDA TO MAINE FOR THE WOUNDED WARRIORS PROJECT AND ACHILLES INTERNATIONAL &#8212; TWO ORGANIZATIONS HELPING VETERANS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES FIND STRENGTH AND COMMUNITY.    AFTER A LIFE CHANGING ACCIDENT THAT ALTERED HER MOBILITY IN 2022&#8230; KNOX KNOWS FIRSTHAND THE MENTAL TOUGHNESS IT TAKES TO OVERCOME A CHALLENGE.    SHE SAYS SHE REDISCOVERED HER STRENGTH AND PURPOSE ON HER BICYCLE. &#8220;WHATEVER IT IS THAT SEEMS HARD OR IMPOSSIBLE, BUT IT&#8217;S SOMETHING YOU REALLY WANT JUST TAKE A STEP. She raised more than $24,500 and is still accepting donations online. Those are both organizations that help veterans and people with disabilities find strength and community. After a life-changing accident that altered her mobility, Knox knows firsthand the mental toughness it takes to overcome a challenge. A news release about the bike ride said, &#8220;On two wheels, she rediscovered the strength and purpose she feared was lost.&#8221;Knox now has a mantra to turn &#8220;I can&#8217;t&#8221; into &#8220;I can try.&#8221;She said, &#8220;Whatever it is that seems hard or impossible, but it\u2019s something you really want, just take a step. Just keep trying, and it\u2019s the trying that\u2019s the fun.
