Rehabilitation) <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla.  \u2014 A 25-year-old man from Miami was arrested Tuesday on accusations that he was promoting \u201cstreet takeovers\u201d in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/05\/20\/acusan-a-hombre-de-promover-street-takeovers-en-miami-dade-y-broward\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/05\/20\/acusan-a-hombre-de-promover-street-takeovers-en-miami-dade-y-broward\/\">Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office, on March 29, Bryan Jose Portillo-Perez posted a flyer on Instagram promoting an \u201cintersection takeover\u201d at various addresses in Miami-Dade and Broward, and urged others in a group chat to share the flyer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The flyer urged drivers to block the roadways so other drivers in designated vehicles called \u201cspinners\u201d could do \u201cdonuts\u201d in the intersections, deputies said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The report listed various addresses in Miami-Dade where deputies said about 50-60 vehicles blocked all lanes of traffic, including:<\/p>\n<p>7950 NW 77th St.8704 NW 32nd Ave.2701 NW 54th St.3630 NW 207th St.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Deputies said about 100 spectators gathered around the intersections to watch the \u201cspinners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Deputies noted in the arrest report that the same group chat Portillo-Perez allegedly posted the flyer in was previously used to promote another street takeover in Margate in which a police officer was struck by a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Portillo-Perez was arrested on five counts of coordinating drag racing on a highway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">As of Wednesday morning, Portillo-Perez was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center where his bond had yet to be set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It\u2019s unclear whether he will face any charges in Broward County.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udfe0 News From Your Neighborhood<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph b-article-body__copyright\">Copyright 2026 by WPLG Local10.com &#8211;
