Fort Lauderdale, FL – Fort Lauderdale police are preparing to release new information after investigators identified human remains connected to a woman who disappeared more than 10 years ago in Broward County.<\/p>\n
Authorities said the remains are believed to belong to Yesenia Suarez, a Lauderhill woman who vanished in October 2014 after leaving work in Fort Lauderdale. <\/p>\n
Suarez was 30-years-old at the time she was reported missing by family members after they lost contact with her and she failed to return home.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, forensic testing recently helped identify the remains during the ongoing investigation into her disappearance. <\/p>\n
