(CBS12) \u2014 A Florida man, already wanted for cocaine sales, found himself in deeper trouble when deputies allegedly uncovered over six pounds of marijuana and a cache of ammunition during a raid on his home.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/topic\/Monroe%20County%20Sheriff&#039;s%20Office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Monroe County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/a> said that  Raheim Christopher Lee Whitney was taken into custody on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Sheriff&#8217;s Office said that they found more than six pounds of marijuana, a Glock handgun with 55 rounds of ammunition, and approximately $30,000 in cash that is believed to be linked to drug sales during a search of Whitney&#8217;s residence on Jenny Lane.<\/p>\n<p>See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/crime-news-3-south-florida-men-sent-to-federal-prison-in-6-9m-medicare-fraud-laundering-case-laundered-illicit-proceeds-tamarac-coral-springs-6-9-million-dollars-for-orthotic-braces-patient-referrals-and-fraudulent-doctors-orders-illegal-activity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">3 South Florida men sent to federal prison in $6.9M Medicare fraud, laundering case<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Whitney has been accused of multiple offenses, including possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, he was apprehended due to an outstanding warrant related to cocaine sales.<\/p>\n<p>According to officials, this is not Whitney&#8217;s first run-in with the law; he was previously arrested in 2017 for robbing a Dairy Queen in Tavernier.<\/p>\n<p>Whitney is currently in jail, facing serious charges that could lead to significant legal consequences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"MONROE COUNTY, Fla.
