{"id":281332,"date":"2026-05-22T21:15:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T21:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/281332\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T21:15:15","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T21:15:15","slug":"st-pete-man-charged-after-high-speed-dui-crash-on-u-s-19-injures-2-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/281332\/","title":{"rendered":"St. Pete man charged after high-speed DUI crash on U.S. 19 injures 2 children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CLEARWATER, Fla. \u2014 A 26-year-old St. Petersburg man faces two felony charges after a high-speed crash on U.S. 19 early Friday morning injured four people, including two children, per the Clearwater Police Department (CPD).<\/p>\n<p>Police said the incident happened just before 3 a.m. on May 22 in the northbound lanes near Harn Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>Mario Mounes Rizk was charged with DUI, causing serious bodily injury, and reckless driving, causing serious bodily injury.
