Dozens of Jacksonville city government offices and facilities will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.<\/p>\n
Full-day closures include:<\/p>\n
Jake M. Godbold City Hall Annex<\/p>\n
Yates Building (The Office of the Tax Collector, including all Tax Collector branch offices, and the Office of the Property Appraiser)<\/p>\n
Supervisor of Elections main office<\/p>\n
Municipal Code Compliance Division<\/p>\n
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department administrative offices<\/p>\n
Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department offices<\/p>\n
Tillie K. Fowler Regional Park Nature Center<\/p>\n
Kids Hope Alliance (also closed Saturday, May 23)<\/p>\n
Social Service Division Emergency Assistance office<\/p>\n
Right-of-Way and Stormwater Management Division administrative offices<\/p>\n
Mowing and Landscape Maintenance Division administrative offices<\/p>\n
Solid Waste Division administrative offices<\/p>\n
Household Hazardous Waste Facility<\/p>\n
The Ritz Theatre & Museum<\/p>\n
Cecil Gym and Fitness Center<\/p>\n
All community and senior centers and gymnasiums managed by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department<\/p>\n
What\u2019s open with modified hours:<\/p>\n
City pools \u2014 30 locations open Saturday; hours and locations, here<\/a><\/p>\n Southside Tennis Complex \u2014 Open Monday, 9 a.m.\u20134:30 p.m.; hard court and pickleball entrances at other facilities remain unlocked<\/p>\n Animal Care and Protective Services \u2014 Open for adoptions Monday, noon\u20137 p.m.<\/p>\n Huguenot Memorial Park \u2014 Opens 6 a.m.; day-use visitors must exit by 7 p.m.<\/p>\n Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park \u2014 Opens 8 a.m., closes at regular time of 8 p.m. Early bird and annual passes are required for entry from 6-8 a.m.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Garbage, recycling and yard waste collection will proceed on its regular schedule.<\/p>\n The 630-CITY Customer Service Center will be closed from Saturday through 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 26.
