(WCTV) &#8211; What the Crossroad Academy boys basketball program has done in just nine years of FHSAA existence is remarkable. The Scorpions have won eight district titles, and they\u2019ve won five regional championships which have led to five showings in the state final four. Last season, Crossroad was state runner-up, while this year, they won their first state title.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Friday, you can add four signees to that growing list of accomplishments, as Jabari Boahen signed with Meridian, Camari Hale to Mid Atlantic Christian, and Trenton Jones to Mississippi Delta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The trio all signed to play basketball, while teammate Jadahrien Stokes is off to Savannah State to play football. It\u2019s an incredible accomplishment and one that speaks to the talent in Gadsden County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI\u2019m trying not to cry because it\u2019s a very emotional moment for me,\u201d said head coach Brandon Shingles. \u201cLike I said, just being a leader of young men and getting the chance and opportunity to see them take the next step in life, that means everything to me because everybody doesn\u2019t have the chance to go to college.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI wanted to continue to play football because it was my first love,\u201d said Stokes of why he chose Savannah State. \u201cI just feel like it had a place in my heart. All the hard times, I\u2019m just happy a light came at the end of the tunnel. I\u2019m just happy the hard times shaped me into who I am today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Perhaps most impressive?
