ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 A 14-year-old boy was killed in a shooting Friday evening in St. Petersburg, according to police.<\/p>\n
Officers responded just after 6:30 p.m. to the 4200 block of 15th Avenue South, where Gaige Santos-Brown had been approached by three teens. Investigators say shots were fired, critically injuring Santos-Brown. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.<\/p>\n
Detectives identified 16-year-old Kenneth Washington as one of the suspects. Washington was arrested overnight and charged with felony murder and violation of supervised release.<\/p>\n
Police say efforts are ongoing to identify and locate the two remaining suspects.<\/p>\n
