Nearly 200 social media influencers with more than 100 million collective followers gathered in Miami this week for the \u201cVoices for Truth\u201d summit, organized by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM).<\/p>\n
The two-day forum offered leading digital voices and public figures a hands-on, action-driven experience aimed at building a unified front against antisemitism, extremism, and anti-West narratives.<\/p>\n
\u201cEach of you pays a heavy price to stand up for what is right,\u201d CAM CEO Sacha Roytman told the audience at Monday\u2019s opening program, \u201cYou are being attacked online and offline. And it is not easy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, the future doesn\u2019t look so bright,\u201d Roytman noted. \u201cWe need more courage. More allies. More action. More content. Your voices are needed more than ever. That is why this summit matters.\u201d<\/p>\n
Summit participants engaged in collaborative brainstorming sessions, targeted workshops, and real-time content creation, as well as discussions centered on shaping public discourse, the impact of AI, Gen Z activism, coalition-building, and strategies for countering hate online.<\/p>\n
The influencers were also invited to work in pairs in the \u201cVirtual Impact Challenge\u201d competition to create powerful and impactful content from the summit.<\/p>\n
A trio of prominent influencers \u2014 comedian, actor, producer, and content creator Zach Sage Fox; independent investigative journalist Nate Friedman; and dancer, singer, and activist Montana Tucker \u2014 received special recognitions from CAM.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to make the truth go viral in a really entertaining and inspiring way,\u201d Sage Fox said. \u201cThe amazing thing is our follower counts are only going to go up. Everyone who is in this room is plugging away and is putting out the truth, you\u2019re only going to become more known, more successful, and prominent in the years to come. We have to remember that although there are so many people against us, we can make the truth go viral.\u201d<\/p>\n
A group of 11 influencers \u2014 Ghazal Mizrahi, Matthew Nouriel, Naz Hashem, Joseph Yomtoubian, Natalie Sanandaji, Vivace Maxvictor, Michael Valdes, Arshia Kian, Judith Oheb, Emily Schrader, and Shiva Negar \u2014 were honored for using their platforms to promote a future of freedom and human rights in Iran.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe relationship between Iranians and Jewish people is one of the oldest and most meaningful connections in history between two ancient civilizations,\u201d Negar, a Persian-Canadian actress and producer, said. \u201cBut this ancient connection was hijacked by a regime that turned hostility toward Israel and hatred toward Jews into part of its political identity.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cToday, many Iranians and Jews recognize something very important in one another. A shared understanding of what extremism is capable of. A shared understanding of loss, displacement, resilience, and survival. We understand each other\u2019s pain. And despite all the attempts to spread fear and spread division, there are still people in this room and around the world choosing truth over extremism, and humanity over truth, and courage over silence.\u201d<\/p>\n
Entrepreneur and philanthropist Igor Tulchinsky, CEO of WorldQuant, highlighted to the influencers the importance of truth and courage in their advocacy.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the end, truth is truth, you can\u2019t really change it,\u201d Tulchinsky said. \u201cBut to say the truth takes a lot of courage sometimes. People have to have courage to tell the truth, even in the face of great lies.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s what\u2019s important,\u201d he added. \u201cDo the right thing all the time, and everything else takes care of itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cFinish what you start,\u201d Tulchinsky emphasized.<\/p>\n
CAM U.S Advisory Board member and former Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer told the summit participants, \u201cYour work matters. We cannot be deterred by the rising seed of antisemitism and hate. More than ever, we must stand together with moral clarity and the courage to defend our values without apology. In today\u2019s digital battlefield, you voices are frontline defenses against extremism and efforts to weaken our nation.\u201d<\/p>\n
