Deputies are investigating after a man was killed in a Saturday night shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to the Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies responded around 8:48 p.m. to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of Northwest 17th Street and Northwest 69th Terrace, Detective Joseph R. Peguero Rivera said.<\/p>\n
Deputies found a man, who was not identified, suffering from gunshot wounds, Rivera said. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took the critically injured man to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n
Despite all lifesaving efforts, he died at the hospital, Rivera said.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made as of Sunday afternoon, and there was no information about the shooter, according to Rivera. Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.<\/p>\n
