Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift now has the first rails installed that the roller coaster train will travel on when the attraction opens in 2027 at Universal Studios Florida.<\/p>\n

Universal Studios Florida\u2019s next major attraction is continuing its vertical construction, with new photos and videos from bioreconstruct<\/a> on X showing additional track supports, station work, and staging activity for Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift.<\/p>\n

In several photos, blue coaster supports are now vertically installed and visible near the front portion of the construction site, closest to Universal CityWalk and the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit footprint. <\/p>\n

The supports vary in height, giving a sense of the future coaster\u2019s path as it curves through the area near Hard Rock Cafe and the perimeter of Universal Studios Florida. <\/p>\n

Earlier updates showed only a few short supports in place, but the latest views show a denser cluster of installed columns across the active work zone.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, bright white pieces of roller coaster track are now bolted into place. <\/p>\n

Another view focuses on the developing layout near CityWalk. Several supports include markings at the top, including arrows and \u201cDOT\u201d marking (Direction of Travel), indicating the direction the coaster trains will move along that section of the ride.<\/p>\n

One of the newest aerial videos gives a wider view of the coaster\u2019s station area. The structure is still skeletal, with steel framing and concrete work visible around the load\/unload footprint. <\/p>\n

Another angle in the same video shows the attraction\u2019s maintenance or service building, which has been one of the more advanced parts of the project. The large gray structure has continued to fill in, with roof panels and exterior framing visible in recent aerial updates.<\/p>\n

Additional angles show coaster track and supports staged in a lot closer to Epic Universe. Long gray track pieces and blue support columns are arranged in rows, with many components grouped by shape and size. This staging area has grown denser over time.<\/p>\n

The overall footprint stretches from the front of Universal Studios Florida near CityWalk toward the backstage areas behind New York and the soundstages.<\/p>\n

The new outdoor coaster is replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and is scheduled to open at Universal Studios Florida in 2027.<\/p>\n

Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift will bring the drifting coaster concept from Universal Studios Hollywood <\/a>to Orlando, though the Florida version will have its own layout.<\/p>\n

Universal previously announced that the attraction will feature 360-degree drifting sensations and a 170-foot vertical \u201cspike\u201d<\/a> that will send riders nearly 17 stories above the outskirts of Universal CityWalk. <\/p>\n

Fast & Furious \u2013 Supercharged is also set to permanently close in 2027<\/a> as Universal Studios Florida makes way for the new coaster.<\/p>\n
