Shortcuts could be blocked or unsafe. And once the storm begins, it\u2019s critical to stay indoors, ideally in an interior room without windows.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a county-by-county list of evacuation zones.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nNortheast Florida                    <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nDuval County                    <\/p>\n<p>The City of Jacksonville has six evacuation zones labeled A through F.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The interaction of the St. Johns River system and intercoastal waterway with the Atlantic Ocean creates a complex flooding risk, and city officials are constantly working with both NOAA and the National Weather Service to keep evacuation zones up to date based on the latest risks.<\/p>\n<p>Zone A lies along the banks of the St. Johns River and intercoastal waterways, and includes all low-lying areas along these waters. Zones B and C include all of Downtown Jacksonville, the beaches, Riverside, San Marco and parts of the Northside, while Zones D, E and F include areas north of the Trout River and Jacksonville International Airport, parts of the Westside and Mandarin.<\/p>\n<p>Jacksonville residents can find up-to-date evacuation information by visiting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jaxready.com\/alerts\/evacuation-zones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">JaxReady website<\/a> or by downloading the JaxReady app. You can also search for your zone by address below:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                                    &#13;\n                                <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nSt. Johns County                    <\/p>\n<p>St. Johns County also has six evacuation zones labeled A through F.<\/p>\n<p>Zone A includes most low-lying areas along the coast and St. Johns River, including most of St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach, Butler Beach, parts of Hastings and Fruit Cove.<\/p>\n<p>Zones B through E progress inland as you get further away from the coast, and Zone F includes an area along the St. Johns River that is vulnerable to flooding.<\/p>\n<p>Enter your address in the map below if you live in St. Johns County to find your zone. They encompass these areas:<\/p>\n<p>Zone A &#8211; Amelia Island beaches and low areasZone B &#8211; Downtown and South Fernandina BeachZone C &#8211; Central Fernandina BeachZone D &#8211; Nassauville, Blackrock, Pirates Wood, ChesterZone E &#8211; East Yulee, LoftonZone F &#8211; Yulee, Wildlight, U.S. 17Zone G &#8211; Hero, Ratliff, Keene and areas south of State Road 200Zone H &#8211; Central Nassau County between County Road 108 and State Road 200Zone I &#8211; Northwest Nassau County along St. Marys RiverZone J &#8211; Nassau County west of County Road 121 Boulougne to MattowZone K &#8211; Hilliard, Callahan and areas surrounding U.S. 301                    <\/p>\n<p>While most evacuations in Nassau have been ordered in response to the threat of tropical cyclones and flooding, they may also be issued when wildfire, an accidental release of hazardous materials, or other hazard threatens an area. \u00a0Sometimes, an order to shelter-in-place may be issued for a zone, rather than an evacuation order. Find more information on evacuations in Nassau County <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onenassau.com\/know-your-zone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                                    &#13;\n                                <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nPutnam County                    <\/p>\n<p>Putnam County has four evacuation zones labeled A, B, C and F, based on the potential for storm surge along the banks of the St. Johns River.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>County officials have resources for residents to learn about their evacuation zones and flood mitigation plans, and additional information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.putnam-fl.gov\/departments\/emergency-services\/emergency-management\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Putnam County residents can view their evacuation zone below.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                                    &#13;\n                                <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nSoutheast Georgia                    <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nCamden County                    <\/p>\n<p>Camden County maintains four evacuation zones labeled A through D.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zone A consists of the barrier islands including Cumberland Island and Little Cumberland Island, while Zone B includes most of the county east of I-95. Zone C consists of an area between I-95 and the intersection of Colerain Road\/Laurel Island Parkway and St. Marys Road. Zone D is all of Camden County west of I-95.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>County officials warn during an evacuation order, I-95 may become congested as evacuees from Florida move north. Several alternatives exist including Georgia Highway 40, U.S. 17, and Georgia Highways 252, 259 and 110 North.<\/p>\n<p>Camden County residents can enter their address below to find their zone.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                                    &#13;\n                                <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nGlynn County                    <\/p>\n<p>Glynn County has two evacuation zones, A and B.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zone A includes Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island, and areas east of I-95. Blythe Island and Oak Grove Island are included in Zone A.
