JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking for two men they say shot and stabbed a man sitting inside the garage of his Westside home early Monday morning, and they’re asking for the public’s help in finding them.<\/p>\n
Investigators said officers responded to the 9600 block of Hazel Lake Drive Monday at 5:33 a.m. to reports of a man being shot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Officers found the man upon arrival with a gunshot wound and a stab wound. He was taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, where he is expected to be OK.<\/p>\n
Investigators said the man was sitting in his garage when two men approached him, having a brief conversation with him before opening fire. During the gunfire, the suspects also stabbed the man, police said.<\/p>\n
The suspects are still at large, and police say they believe the shooting is an isolated incident. Despite the incident being isolated, investigators are asking the community for help finding the two men, saying community help is “critical” to the investigation.<\/p>\n
The men are described as a heavy-set white man and a skinny white man, both in a black or dark gray SUV which sped away in an unknown direction.\u00a0<\/p>\n
