Epic Universe is installing spotlights behind the new fireworks launch pad, the roof of the Helios Grand Hotel, and in the Constellation Fountain that will be part of a large-scale nighttime show. The spotlights will act as backdrop and foreground lighting, creating effects in the sky to complement the fireworks. "Epic

Though Epic Universe opened without a fireworks show, Universal indicated they were still exploring the possibility.

A nighttime fountain show was performed in the park instead, but the fountain was recently drained for electrical updates, presumably related to a new nighttime show.

Universal began hiring fireworks technicians this year.

Early concept art for Epic Universe also included fireworks, and fireworks were tested at the park before opening.

The potential show could be named “Celestial Goodnight,” according to a trademark filing.
