Firstly, they&#8217;ll have to get through three other teams: Coastal Carolina, Northern Illinois, and St. John&#8217;s. But what are the Seminoles&#8217; records against each of these teams?<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">FSU&#8217;s record vs. Coastal Carolina (37-21 in 2026) is the most lopsided of the bunch, with the Seminoles dominating the Chanticleers 13-1 overall. In their last matchup in 2015, FSU was handed its lone loss against CCU, 4-2. The series dates back to 1991, but their best win came in 1994 with a 17-2 blowout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">While FSU might not have played Northern Illinois (35-17) as much, only once in 1971, the Seminoles did emerge from that game victorious, 7-1. For the first time in 55 years, perhaps the two will have a chance to meet again this weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Finally, FSU has only played St. John&#8217;s (33-24) three times, all in 2016, where the Seminoles took the series against them, 2-1.
