{"id":285190,"date":"2026-05-26T20:48:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T20:48:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/285190\/"},"modified":"2026-05-26T20:48:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T20:48:09","slug":"victim-shares-video-showing-mail-theft-in-hialeah-gardens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/285190\/","title":{"rendered":"Victim shares video showing mail theft in Hialeah Gardens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0May 26, 2026 at 4:19 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">HIALEAH GARDENS, Fla.  \u2014 A woman was reviewing her surveillance video when she saw a thief stealing her mail in Hialeah Gardens. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The victim said the woman, who was with a teenage boy, took an envelope with credit card information. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The victim\u2019s fear: \u201cIdentity theft!\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Residents in the area of West 36 Avenue and Northwest 133 Street said their mail had also been stolen. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve been waiting for a Bank of America card that never arrived, and I ordered another one, and the other one hasn\u2019t arrived either,\u201d said Julio Cordero, who lives in the Hialeah Garden Estates community. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">U.S. Postal Inspectors investigate the federal offense punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
