(CBS12)  \u2014 The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityoffortpierce.com\/1186\/Police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Fort Pierce Police Department<\/a> has identified the shooter who shot a man and left him on a sidewalk on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Police identified the shooter as 18-year-old Elijah Robinson and arrested him on Tuesday without incident. Robinson is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a charge of attempted first-degree murder.<\/p>\n<p>See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/fhp-border-patrol-agents-tried-to-stop-wrong-way-driver-before-fatal-martin-county-crash\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">West Palm Beach career criminal identified in deadly 16-mile wrong-way rampage<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday at about 9:45 p.m., officers with <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/fort-pierce-man-hospitalized-after-being-found-with-gunshot-wound-florida-news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">FPPD heard gunshots <\/a>coming from North 23rd Street and Avenue E. Upon law enforcement arrival, they found a man lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, the investigation remains active, and a motive has not yet been determined.
