A proposed trade framework would send Ja Morant, the No. 32 overall pick, and a 2030 first-round pick to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Isaac, and Goga Bitadze going to the Memphis Grizzlies.

A potential offseason trade framework involving Ja Morant and the Orlando Magic has been outlined by NBA reporter Evan Sidery, offering a realistic structure for a deal centered on the former All-Star guard.

According to Sidery, one possible package would send Morant to Orlando in a major roster shake-up, while the Memphis Grizzlies would receive a mix of rotation talent and long-term flexibility.

Proposed trade framework:

Magic receive:

Ja Morant No. 32 overall pick 2030 first-round pick (previously sent in the Desmond Bane trade, returned)

Grizzlies receive:

Jalen Suggs Jonathan Isaac Goga Bitadze

The concept reflects a scenario in which Orlando aggressively upgrades its lead guard position by betting on Morant’s star-level playmaking and offensive ceiling, while Memphis pivots toward a deeper rotation and asset accumulation.

Morant’s availability has become a growing talking point around the league after an injury-hit season in which he appeared in just 20 games.

He averaged 19.5 points and 8.1 assists, but has not played more than 50 games in any of the last three seasons, fueling ongoing speculation about his long-term future in Memphis.

For the Grizzlies, the return would center on positional balance and durability, bringing in Suggs’ perimeter defense and development curve, Isaac’s defensive versatility if healthy, and Bitadze’s frontcourt depth.
