The company says the expanded facility increases the terminal\u2019s capacity to receive, store and distribute aggregates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cemex expects the terminal to handle about 1.5 million tons of aggregates per year, depending on shipping conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe completion of our aggregate terminal at Port Tampa Bay strengthens Cemex\u2019s ability to serve one of Florida\u2019s fastest-growing regions with the essential materials needed to build and maintain critical infrastructure \u2013 from roads and schools to hospitals and housing,\u201d says Jesus Gonzalez, president of Cemex US. \u201cBy improving supply reliability, we help keep projects on schedule and support cost stability for families, businesses and communities.
