The Tampa Bay area now has four Michelin Star restaurants and five with Bib Gourmand awards for “exceptionally good food at moderate prices.”<\/p>\n

TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 Florida’s newest Michelin Star restaurants have been revealed for 2026<\/a>, and it’s clear Tampa Bay is continuing to make a name as a culinary destination.<\/p>\n

While we didn’t earn any new stars this year, four of Tampa’s previous five Michelin Star restaurants<\/a> maintained their stars for 2026: Ebbe, K\u014dsen, Koya and Rocca.\u00a0Lilac lost its star but is still on Michelin’s recommended list.<\/p>\n

The Michelin Guide’s awards are renewed annually, which means restaurants that have earned stars in the past have to keep up their culinary prowess to maintain them.<\/p>\n

Tampa Bay also has four restaurants that maintained their Bib Gourmand<\/a> status and one that earned a new Bib Gourmand.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Bib Gourmand \u2014 named after Bibendum, the big, white Michelin Man \u2014 is awarded to restaurants that offer “exceptionally good food at moderate prices.” Psomi, Streetlight Taco, Rooster and the Till, and Gorkhali Kitchen maintained their status, while Lucky 8 in Sarasota joined the group this year.<\/p>\n

Tampa’s Fat Beet Farm Kitchen and Bakery also earned a special Green Star distinction this year “for its inspiring and committed vision for the future of gastronomy.”<\/p>\n

This year, the guide covered the entire state of Florida for the first time. When the\u00a0Michelin Guide first came to the state in 2022<\/a>, it covered only Miami, Orlando and Tampa. It then expanded in 2025 to cover Fort Lauderdale, The Palm Beaches and St. Pete-Clearwater.<\/p>\n
