Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville welcomed hundreds of supporters to Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa on Saturday, April 25, for McGala 2026: High School Prom, an unforgettable evening celebrating community, compassion and the mission of the House.

Blending the nostalgia of prom night with an elegant black-tie experience, the event featured live entertainment, dinner, dancing, impactful family stories and exciting auction moments, all in support of families staying in Jacksonville for their children’s medical care.

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, guests and community partners, McGala 2026 raised nearly $600,000 to help provide lodging, meals, comfort and essential support services for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville.

“McGala is such a special reflection of what this community can accomplish together,” said Joey Leik, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville. “Every dollar raised helps provide comfort, care and a home away from home for families facing some of life’s most difficult moments. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who said yes to prom and yes to supporting our mission.”

The evening’s high school prom theme transformed the ballroom into a sophisticated celebration filled with timeless prom-inspired details, encouraging guests to relive cherished memories while making a meaningful impact for families in need.
