{"id":288153,"date":"2026-05-28T22:14:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T22:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/288153\/"},"modified":"2026-05-28T22:14:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T22:14:11","slug":"man-accused-of-fleeing-from-deputies-in-stolen-cadillac-in-northwest-miami-dade-faces-judge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/288153\/","title":{"rendered":"Man accused of fleeing from deputies in stolen Cadillac in northwest Miami-Dade faces judge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0May 28, 2026 at 5:40 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Updated:\u00a0May 28, 2026 at 6:07 PM<\/p>\n<p>A 26-year-old man accused of leading law enforcement on a pursuit in a stolen Cadillac SUV through northwestern Miami-Dade County faced Judge Mindy Glazer on Thursday morning. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla.  \u2014 A 26-year-old man accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/news\/local\/2026\/05\/27\/driver-of-stolen-cadillac-arrested-after-pursuit-in-miami-dade\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/news\/local\/2026\/05\/27\/driver-of-stolen-cadillac-arrested-after-pursuit-in-miami-dade\/\">leading law enforcement on a pursuit in a stolen Cadillac SUV through northwestern Miami-Dade County<\/a> faced Judge Mindy Glazer on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/05\/28\/acusan-a-hombre-de-huir-de-agentes-en-cadillac-robado-en-el-noroeste-de-miami-dade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/05\/28\/acusan-a-hombre-de-huir-de-agentes-en-cadillac-robado-en-el-noroeste-de-miami-dade\/\">Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Klauss Anthony Moise appeared before Glazer, who reviewed his charges that include fleeing and eluding a police officer, resisting an officer without violence and grand theft of a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Court records show Moise, who was already on probation at the time of his arrest,will remained in custody pending another court appearance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities said the pursuit began Wednesday after Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office robbery intervention detectives spotted a stolen black Cadillac SUV that had been reported by Miami Gardens police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators said detectives attempted to stop the vehicle near Northwest 22nd Avenue and 151st Street, but Moise continued driving. At one point during the pursuit, authorities said he stopped in the middle of the road before continuing on.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They said Florida Highway Patrol troopers later assisted in the pursuit and performed a PIT maneuver to stop the SUV near Northwest 152nd Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities said Moise then got out of the vehicle and ran into bushes near train tracks in Miami Gardens before deputies took him into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cLaw enforcement did a very good job,\u201d said Marvin Walls Jr., who lives nearby. \u201cBecause of all the action was going, I went in the house. That was it. I saw everything on the news.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Jail record show Moise has faced criminal charges before. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In 2022, he was charged as an accessory after the fact in the death of Amanda Collins.
