The Children\u2019s Education Center of the Islands (CECI) will offer its \u201cSummer Camp: Rooted In Wonder\u201d from June 8 through July 31 at its campus, at 350 Casa Ybel Road, Sanibel.<\/p>\n
Taking place on Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., every camp week will have a different theme. There will be visits from the Sanibel Sea School educators, librarian-led storytimes and activities, special field trip experiences brought to the campus, Friday water days and more.<\/p>\n
The following camps still have openings:<\/p>\n
-June 29 through July 3: Nature in Red, White and Blue<\/p>\n
\u2013 July 6-10: Feathered Friends<\/p>\n
\u2013 July 13-17: Nature Olympics<\/p>\n
\u2013 July 20-24: Cooking with Nature<\/p>\n
\u2013 July 27-31: Water in Nature: Splash & Discovery<\/p>\n
Enrollment is open to ages 3-7.<\/p>\n
Campers will need to bring a reusable water bottle and boxed lunch daily.<\/p>\n
The cost is $250 per week, with a sibling discount available.<\/p>\n
In addition, wrap-around care is available from 8 to 9 a.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. for $90 per week.<\/p>\n
There are need-based scholarships for Sanibel-Captiva families and workforce.<\/p>\n
