The Key Biscayne community composting program, run by A Zero Waste Culture, launched in 2019 to compost wasted food and other organics, reduce methane emissions and create nutrient-rich soil.<\/p>\n
Members collect food scraps during the week and bring them on Saturdays to the Farmers Market at the Key Biscayne Community Church, 355 Glenridge Road.<\/p>\n
Below is the environmental impact of the Island\u2019s composting this past week:<\/p>\n
