A Florida Keys man has been arrested in the brutal murder of his wife, authorities said.

Bradly Shawn Shadduck, 56, was arrested and booked into jail Thursday in the killing of 62-year-old Lynne Alane Shadduck, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said.

Lynne Shadduck had been found unconscious on a hallway floor of the couple’s home on Maracaibo Lane in Cudjoe Key.

She had injuries to her face, head and hands and was taken to Lower Keys Medical Center on Stock Island where she was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

The sheriff’s office had been notified after Bradly Shadduck had gone to a neighbor’s house wrapped in a blanket or towel but otherwise naked, officials said.

He told the neighbor to call 911 since there was “blood everywhere,” authorities said.

The inside of the couple’s home had been found in disarray with blood in multiple areas, officials said.

Officials didn’t say how the wife was killed but said autopsy results are pending.

The investigation was ongoing.

“There is no threat to the public at this time,” Monroe Sheriff Rick Ramsay said.

A Florida Keys man has been arrested in the brutal murder of his wife, authorities said.
