West Palm Beach, Miami and Fort Myers are the hardest places to beat the heat, according to a new study. TNS<\/p>\n
Crunching climate data across 80 cities, the Texas-based brand developed \u201cHydration Demand Scores\u201d based on heat index, average temperature, dew point and humidity, on a scale of zero to 100. The national average score is 17.5.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Of the top 10 cities, seven are in Florida.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sweltering West Palm Beach \u2014 the city in most desperate need of deodorant \u2014 has a score of 58.9.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The city spends 54.1% of the year above the National Weather Service\u2019s caution threshold of 80 degrees.<\/p>\n
Miami and Fort Myers scored 51 and 46.4 respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI was just in Miami it was so hot. I couldn\u2019t even wear makeup I was sweating so bad,\u201d Daniella Cordova, 19, a New Yorker who visited the tropical city a few weeks ago, told The Post. <\/p>\n

The fourth most drenched city is Honolulu, Hawaii, ranked at 46.4 on the hydration scale.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Melbourne, Florida \u2014 which landed in fifth place \u2014 has a score of 41.5. Tampa and Orlando have slightly more tolerable conditions and\u00a0trailed close behind with respective scores of 40.7 and 37.4.\u00a0<\/p>\n
New Orleans came in eighth place with a score of 36.1, followed by Houston at 35.3.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In 10th place, Jacksonville earned a sweaty score of 31.9.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Among the top 10 most stifling cities, heat and humidity peak in August for all but Houston and Jacksonville, where the muggiest conditions hit hardest in July, according to the study.<\/p>\n
