He no longer attends Lennard High School.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, deputies learned Pileggi was seen carrying a black backpack near the school. On May 28, 2026, deputies detained Pileggi in a neighborhood near the school. Pileggi admitted to sending the threats with his phone.<\/p>\n<p>Pileggi was arrested and has been charged with:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tWritten or Electronic Threat to Kill or Do Bodily Injury&#13;<br \/>\n\tUnlawful Use of Two-Way Communications Device\u00a0&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is zero tolerance for threats targeting anyone in our community, but especially a vulnerable student,&#8221;\u00a0said Sheriff Chad Chronister.\u00a0&#8220;This suspect has shown repeatedly that he is willing to break the law, and we will not allow this to continue without serious consequences.
