New drive-thru concept Boost Coffee + Energy announced that it will launch its first shop with a soft opening June 7-9 and a grand opening June 10.<\/p>\n

The Jacksonville-based company, which focuses on \u201cclean ingredients and customizable beverages,\u201d will debut at 7253 103rd St. in the Cedar Hills area of West Jacksonville, according to a news release.<\/p>\n

For June 7-9, reduced hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and customers who download the Boost app receive a free drink. The compaby\u2019s website is BoostCoffee.com.<\/p>\n

Starting June 10, hours will be 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Boost Coffee + Energy said in a news release that the June 10 grand opening will offer free drinks for customers all day, along with giveaways for the first 100 customers.<\/p>\n

June 11 is \u201cAll Day Happy Hour\u201d with 50% off all drinks from open to close.\u00a0<\/p>\n

June 12-13 will feature buy-one-get-one deals where customers buy an item and get a second for $1.<\/p>\n

The week concludes June 14, with #GiveAwesomenessDay to benefit Friends of Jacksonville Animals. Boost Coffee + Energy will donate $2 from every drink sold to the organization. The first 100 dogs receive a gift.<\/p>\n

The Friends Of Jacksonville Animals nonprofit helps animals at the city\u2019s Animal Care and Protective Services shelter.<\/p>\n

As franchise industry veterans with ties to North Florida, where they developed a Planet Fitness portfolio across the region, the cofounders are applying their operational experience \u201cto a beverage concept they believe addresses a clear gap in the market,\u201d the release said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCoffee is no longer just a morning ritual. It\u2019s an all-day lifestyle. Most of what\u2019s out there is loaded with artificial ingredients and fillers. We saw a gap, and we built Boost to fill it,\u201d said Murray in the release.<\/p>\n

The menu features energy drinks, coffee, espresso, protein lattes, refreshers, protein shakes, smoothies, cold brew, teas, Boost sodas, kids\u2019 drinks and snacks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Boost also offers free \u201cTailWhip\u201d treats for dogs.<\/p>\n

The release said customers can \u201cboost\u201d any drink with add-ons from cold foam and boba to options such as protein, creatine and organic caffeine.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The brand\u2019s energy drinks use organic caffeine paired with B vitamins, which Boost said delivers steady energy without the crash associated with conventional options.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Each location operates a proprietary in-house roasting system that Murray said reduces the environmental impact of roasting by 90% compared with standard methods.<\/p>\n

The 790-square-foot dual-lane drive-thru on 103rd Street is designed for throughput, the release said.<\/p>\n

Murray said the model prioritizes speed without compromising the customer experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cDrive-through coffee should be fast without feeling rushed,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want Boost to be an experience people look forward to, not just a transaction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like many drive-thru kiosks, Boost Coffee & Energy favors a 600- to 800-square-foot modular unit with a dual-lane drive-thru design. A corporate presentation shows that preferred site specifications are outparcels from 12,000 square feet to a half-acre.<\/p>\n

The Westside location, a renovated Dairy Queen, is the first planned for North Florida.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A second Boost under development along Old County Road 210 in St. Augustine is scheduled to open in August 2026, with an additional site in Yulee planned for a September 2026 opening and double-digit unit growth in the pipeline.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Herlihy said the corporate rollout is intentional.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Herlihy said the name, Boost, also means the company helps \u201ccustomers, employees and franchise partners reach higher and achieve more.\u201d<\/p>\n
