{"id":291887,"date":"2026-06-01T15:53:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T15:53:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/291887\/"},"modified":"2026-06-01T15:53:25","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T15:53:25","slug":"miami-fire-rescue-captain-arrested-again-faces-domestic-violence-charges-jail-records-show-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/291887\/","title":{"rendered":"Miami Fire Rescue captain arrested again, faces domestic violence charges, jail records show \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A veteran Miami Fire Rescue captain who was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/veteran-miami-fire-rescue-captain-arrested-on-multiple-charges\/3628122\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/veteran-miami-fire-rescue-captain-arrested-on-multiple-charges\/3628122\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">arrested last year for allegedly assaulting a deputy<\/a> is once again behind bars on domestic violence charges, Miami-Dade jail records showed.<\/p>\n<p>Maximo Vasquez, 43, was arrested Saturday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, strongarm robbery and false imprisonment, according to jail records.<\/p>\n<p>Further details of the arrest weren&#8217;t available.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue is aware of an incident involving a 16-year veteran firefighter who was arrested Saturday by the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office,&#8221; a fire department spokesperson said in a statement Monday. &#8220;At this time, we have not been in contact with the individual.
