JSO investigators said a man and a woman pulled handguns out during a fight Tuesday morning before one of the guns went off, hitting two men.<\/p>\n
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Two men are recovering from gunshot wounds after a fight at the Regency Inn in Arlington early Tuesday morning ended in gunfire, according to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigators.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to the hotel at 6237 Arlington Expressway to reports of two men being shot around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday. There, officers found the two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics took them to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and both are recovering.<\/p>\n
Investigators said the men were involved in a fight at the hotel. During the fight, one of the men pulled out a handgun. A woman who was also armed with a handgun became involved in the fight, and one of the guns went off, hitting both men, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
Officers said they detained all involved, and the shooting was an isolated incident with no threat to the community.<\/p>\n
