PETERSBURG, Fla. (WKRC) \u2014 A Florida garbage truck driver accused of running over a woman had reportedly been warned that people were sleeping in the alley before he reversed his truck into it, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/news\/pinellas-county\/st-pete-garbage-truck-driver-ignored-warning-before-running-over-woman-in-alley-affidavit\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/news\/pinellas-county\/st-pete-garbage-truck-driver-ignored-warning-before-running-over-woman-in-alley-affidavit\/\" class=\"themeColorForLinks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">per WFLA<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>According to an arrest affidavit, a bystander told 51-year-old Nathan Brown, who was operating a St. Petersburg garbage truck when he allegedly struck and killed a 49-year-old woman, that multiple people were sleeping in the alley he was working in. <\/p>\n<p>Brown apparently ignored that warning and reversed down the alley. He then loaded the garbage truck and, as he was exiting the alley, hit the victim. <\/p>\n<p>He also did not stop to help the woman or call 911, said the affidavit. <\/p>\n<p>Brown was arrested later Saturday morning and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
