ORLANDO, Fla. (June 2, 2026) \u2013 Orlando City SC had three players named to official rosters ahead of the\u00a0FIFA World Cup 2026\u2122, FIFA announced today. Goalkeeper Maxime Cr\u00e9peau was selected to\u00a0represent\u00a0tournament co-host Canada, midfielder Braian Ojeda will\u00a0represent\u00a0his native Paraguay and forward Marco Pa\u0161ali\u0107 was named to\u00a0represent\u00a02018 runner-up Croatia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Cr\u00e9peau\u00a0is in his first season in Central Florida after joining Orlando City via free agency\u00a0on\u00a0Jan. 6. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has made 14 appearances for the Lions, recording 63 saves in more than\u00a01,100 minutes\u00a0played. He also tied the\u00a0Club\u2019s single-game saves record with 11 in the 2026 season opener.\u00a0The Greenfield Park native has made 31 appearances all-time for\u00a0Les Rouges,\u00a0with an\u00a0additional\u00a014 matches at various youth international levels,\u00a0recording 12 clean sheets.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ojeda, 25, joined Orlando on Jan. 2 via trade from Western Conference side Real Salt Lake. He\u00a0has started\u00a0all 18 matches for the Lions in 2026, logging\u00a01,552 minutes\u00a0and coming off the field for just 68 minutes while contributing four assists across all competitions.\u00a0All-time, the midfielder has appeared in 16 matches for\u00a0La Albirroja.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pa\u0161ali\u0107 is in his second season with the club after joining the Lions via transfer from HNK Rijeka of Croatia\u2019s Supersport HNL on Feb. 25, 2025. The Karlsruhe, Germany native has made 52 appearances, including 47 starts, across all competitions for Orlando, totaling 17 goals and seven assists. Pa\u0161ali\u0107 has earned 13 caps all-time for the Vatreni, scoring one goal and providing three assists.<\/p>\n
