But when the off-duty attendant left to use the bathroom, the madman attempted to snatch his bag and choke him.<\/p>\n Video posted to social media captured one passenger, Josh Longood, in a \u201cjiu jitsu\u201d t-shirt, leaping into action beside other fliers and flight attendants to hold down the shouting bearded man and tie his wrists with zip ties.<\/p>\n Longood, a former professional MMA fighter and a current competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and medical device salesman, took a photo smiling in the seat next to the luantic as he was tied up and slumped onto the plane\u2019s window, the Mansfield News Journal reported.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cAfter these pics, he slipped the ties, so I had to hold him down until our emergency landing in Miami.
