SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 International airline BermudAir will launch new service from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) this December, adding nonstop flights to Turks and Caicos, Belize and Anguilla as part of a broader winter expansion.<\/p>\n
The airline plans to begin twice-weekly service from PIE to Turks and Caicos on Mondays and Thursdays starting Dec. 21, running through early May 2027.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nonstop service to Belize will also operate twice weekly beginning Dec. 20, with flights scheduled midweek and Sundays. In addition, BermudAir will introduce a weekly nonstop flight to Anguilla on Thursdays starting Dec. 24.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The carrier said the routes will provide the only nonstop connections from the Tampa Bay region to both Turks and Caicos and Belize.<\/p>\n
Airport officials said the new service marks a significant expansion of international travel options for local passengers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Director Mark Sprague called the routes an opportunity to connect travelers to \u201cexceptional vacation experiences\u201d across the Caribbean and Central America.<\/p>\n
All flights will be operated on Embraer E190 aircraft and are scheduled to go on sale Friday, pending government approvals.<\/p>\n
BermudAir was founded in 2023 and is based in Hamilton, Bermuda. The carrier operates a fleet of jets in a two-class configuration with no middle seats, emphasizing comfort for passengers.
