road rage incident Friday night in Doral.<\/a><\/p>\nThe suspect, 54-year-old Emilio Humberto Rodriguez, allegedly fired a single shot that struck the victim in the face around 7:45 p.m. near Northwest 87th Avenue and Northwest 64th Street, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Deputies said they incident began when the victim and Rodriguez got into an argument after exiting their vehicles. <\/p>\n
Authorities said Rodriguez pulled out a gun, yelled at the victim, and fired a round as the victim turned toward him.<\/p>\n
They said the victim drove to an urgent care center in Doral with visible blood on the SUV and on the front door of the facility. <\/p>\n
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported him to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.<\/p>\n
According to his arrest report, Rodriguez admitted to firing a \u201cwarning shot\u201d near the victim\u2019s head. Deputies said the incident was captured on a nearby security camera.<\/p>\n
With assistance from the Doral Police Department, deputies located Rodriguez and took him into custody. <\/p>\n
Jail records show he is facing one count of second-degree attempted murder with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n
As of Saturday morning, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where his bond was listed as \u201cto be set.\u201d <\/p>\n
