Tampa police say just hours later, a woman was found dead inside a home.<\/p>\n<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 Tampa police have identified a couple found dead last week in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/news\/local\/hillsboroughcounty\/tampa-related-deaths-investigation-car-burned-home\/67-fc2a3c31-40b0-446a-9934-b5e2744b5651\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">two related investigations.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>At around 1:20 a.m. on May 25, officers responded to N. Central Avenue after receiving reports of an idling vehicle in the middle of the roadway. When they arrived, they found a man, later identified as 41-year-old Jamel Williams, dead inside the car from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p>As that investigation was taking place, police say they were dispatched to a home on E. Patterson Street just before 6:30 a.m. in regards to an unresponsive woman. Preliminary evidence revealed smoke and structural damage inside the home, indicating a fire had recently occurred.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Police say the woman, later identified as 36-year-old Tyneisha Burroughs, was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner&#8217;s office will determine the official cause of death.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives determined these were not &#8220;random acts,&#8221; and the woman and man were last known to be in a romantic relationship before their deaths.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are asking anyone with more information to contact Tampa police at 813-231-6130 or contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 800-873-TIPS.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man was found dead inside a car last week from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
