Recent rainfall and higher humidity have significantly reduced the potential for large wildfire growth in the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">\u201cConditions have improved enough in Duval County that lifting the burn ban is the right call,\u201d Golden said. \u201cThe recent rain has helped, and we expect that trend to continue. We know the drought conditions have not disappeared, and JFRD is still paying close attention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Residents are reminded that lifting the burn ban does not change Jacksonville\u2019s year-round open burning regulations.
