The College of Central Florida<\/a> District Board of Trustees is seeing six of its members return.<\/p>\n

Gov. Ron DeSantis reappointed the half-dozen Trustees for the college, which has six locations in Marion, Citrus and Levy counties. The institution has about 6,000 students enrolled at the combined campuses.<\/p>\n

The reappointments include Joyce Brancato, Russell Branson, Robert Durrance, William Edgar, Fred Roberts Jr.\u00a0and Charlie Stone.<\/p>\n

Broncato is an Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of Maryland\u2019s Global Campus. She\u2019s also been the CEO of Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center in Crystal River and is past President of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n

Broncato is an alum of the University of South Florida, where she earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in nursing before moving on to Nova Southeastern University, where she obtained her master\u2019s degree in business administration.<\/p>\n

Branson is President of SouthState Bank and is Treasurer of United Way of Marion County. He\u2019s also a member of the Marion County Hospital District Board of Directors. He obtained his bachelor\u2019s degree in finance from Florida State University and master\u2019s degree in banking from Louisiana State University.<\/p>\n

Durrance has retired from professional life. But he served as an administrator and teacher for 34 years in Levy County Public Schools. He\u2019s also a U.S. Marine veteran. He obtained his bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of Florida and master\u2019s from Nova.<\/p>\n

Edgar is a business consultant who\u2019s self employed and remains active in Ocala with memberships in the Jaguar Club of North Florida and the Ocala Elks Club. He\u2019s a veteran of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who received his bachelor\u2019s degree from UF in business administration.<\/p>\n

Roberts is a lawyer and partner in the Klein and Klein law firm. He\u2019s also a member of the UF Oak Hammock Board of Directors and the Marion County Bar Association. His bachelor\u2019s degree in economics is from UF and his law degree is from Stetson University.<\/p>\n

Stone owns Stone Petroleum Products Inc. where he\u2019s also President of the company. He\u2019s a former Representative in the Florida House and former member of the Marion County Commission. He\u2019s a member of the Marion County Chamber of Economic Partnership, Marion County Roadbuilders Association and Silver Springs Rotary Club.<\/p>\n
