The agent identified Savage as a suspect through a tip submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

More news on crime in our area:

The affidavit states that Savage requested they have a “quick meet,” inquired about the agent/young girl’s sexual history, and requested that she wear less clothing so that he could have more access to her body.

Authorities said there were multiple indicators that he knew her age, but continued the conversation.

Savage then went to the agreed-upon location with the agent/young girl and was subsequently arrested.

He was taken to Leon County Detention facility without incident.

To keep up with the latest news as it develops, follow WCTV on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Nextdoor and X (Twitter).

Have a news tip or see an error? Write to us here.
