Since then, Romocelly claims the late owner\u2019s relatives sorted through the belongings, salvaged what they wanted, and left the remaining debris piled throughout the unsecured yard. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">He fears the unkept site has since been picked over by local trespassers, leaving the neighborhood to deal with an accumulating public health hazard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.actionnewsjax.com\/live-breaking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.actionnewsjax.com\/live-breaking\/\" target=\"_blank\">&gt;&gt;&gt; STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE &lt;&lt;&lt;<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">\u201cWhen he was here, he didn\u2019t have all this stuff here,\u201d Romocelly said. \u201cIt makes me sick. It\u2019s depressing. It\u2019s deplorable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Mounds of debris, broken liquor bottles, and open holes measuring three to four feet deep now litter the property. Because the site sits near local homes, neighborhood businesses, and more, residents worry the deteriorating conditions have created a breeding ground for rodents and other pests.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">\u201cPeople go to the store here, and you have the Coca-Cola plant here,\u201d Romocelly said. \u201cWe don\u2019t want people who have to go to the Coca-Cola plant to be bitten by a rodent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 jsuuLb body-paragraph\">Frustrated by what he describes as weeks of inaction, Romocelly filed a complaint with municipal code enforcement.
